Systematics Monotypic genus. Member of the tergal lobe clade (Grehan, 2010). External appearance and male genitalia unique among known species of Hepialidae. Valve with basal, upturned broadly triangular spur.
Habitat Probably forest or shrubland.
Biology Unknown. Larvae probably bore into live woody stems of trees or shrubs.
